At Omaha by Design, we know that people-centered urban design is essential to thriving communities. Fundamentally, this is our vision: A more vibrant, livable city for all. 

In pursuit of this vision, ObD works across the metro to enable and inspire a built environment that unleashes the full potential of its cities and citizens. We do this by convening, educating, advocating, and encouraging engagement in the topics which physically shape the metro. 

We step in to fill the gap between the public and private sector – connecting know-how with need, access with opportunity. Because of our understanding of the decisions shaping our community – everything from zoning and regulations, land use and master planning, architecture and landscape, public art and preservation, transit and transportation – ObD plays a unique role in guiding how our metro grows and adapts to address these issues, to the benefit of all.
