Nebraska DEVO

Celebrating 15 years of outdoors youth education and outreach with a highly trained core group of volunteer coaches focused on bringing the best of local involvement and leadership to the community as a grassroots 501c3 Non-Profit. 

Nebraska DEVO is a skills-based developmental mountain biking program for kids ages 5-18. Nebraska “DEVO” (short for development) has two locations in Omaha, two in Lincoln, one in Norfolk, and new in 2025, Blair!

DEVO develops youth mountain biking skills and stewardship through inclusivity and community.  We foster a love for mountain biking and the trails that connect us.

Your generous DONATIONS stay LOCAL & help us provide more scholarships for youth to access DEVO by providing comped registrations, helmets, transportation racks, or even bikes! We have NEVER turned a student or family away in need. Help us grow the program to serve more communities in 2025!

Nebraska DEVO is 100% volunteer coaches, leadership, and Board of Directors!

Nebraska DEVO has grown to serve 6 unique locations, enabling high level training & support to more than 80 volunteer coaches, who’s dedication and focus is to educate 200+ kids every summer, creating well rounded youth riders and outdoor trail advocates of now & the future.

Initially working with LiveWell Omaha as a starter program, Omaha DEVO took shape in 2010, then expanding to encompass Lincoln DEVO and Norfolk DEVO, and ultimately becoming Nebraska DEVO, adding Blair DEVO in 2025! It truly takes a village of caring and passionate individuals working together, to make the magic happen!
