Gateway Development has partnered with the local Art committee to bring more art to Washington County. One of the first major projects we are helping them with is the Art Alley pocket park.   This will be the first public art project in Blair NE.  The art alley will have 8-15 permanent murals and temporary sculptures that will be interchangeable.  A portion of the fundraising money will be used as stipends for the artist.  

By creating a public art space it will dramatically change the feel of downtown Blair.  People will be able to walk or bike to a beautiful space 7 days a week completely FREE.  This space will also be a potential spot for pop-up markets, music, and food trucks.   A great community space for all to enjoy.  The Art alley is a stepping stone toward other public art works in Washington County.  This is also a step closer to making Blair a creative district in Nebraska.
